The TOEIC® Listening & Reading, Speaking & Writing and Speaking only tests are required by the UK Border and Immigration Agency for visa and work permit purposes.

Student visas (Tier 4)

You will need to take both the ''Listening & Reading'' and ''Speaking & Writing'' tests.

Work permits (Tiers 1 & 2)

You will need to take both the ''Listening & Reading'' and ''Speaking & Writing'' tests.

Spouse/Partner visas (A1)

You will need to take both the ''Listening & Reading'' and ''Speaking only'' tests. (Only the Listening and Speaking scores are required, but the Listening & Reading test is a complete test and both parts must be taken.)

Results for the "Listening & Reading", 'Speaking & Writing", and "Speaking only" tests will be shown on an official score report provided to you. This score report is accepted by the UKBA.
